Minnesota Naturists

We are naturists. You might also call us nudists. We enjoy being naked. We practice social nudism. We come in all sizes and shapes. Many of us struggle with our body image. Some of us are still uneasy in our nudity. Many of us have spouses, friends, family and employers who don't or wouldn't understand.

We've come together as Minnesota Naturists to find others who also enjoy being nude and to discover places and events where we can be nude more freely. We do not own a park or resort, but instead find opportunities where we can--in members' homes and rural property, in rented facilities or secluded public lands. We are always looking for new places we can be nude, new things we can do while nude and new friends who will understand us, support us and join us.

The purpose of Minnesota Naturists is to:

Encourage acceptance of the human body and of nudity as its natural state.
Expand the opportunities for people in our region to be nude, individually and socially.
Increase public acceptance of nudity.
To advocate public policy that is more accepting of nudity.

In support of this purpose, Minnesota Naturists:

Sponsors clothing optional events.
Encourages members and other individuals and organizations to host clothing optional events and helps with planning, organizing and publicity.
Works to identify locations in the area suitable for enjoyment in the nude.
Works with media, community and art organizations to encourage a more positive community attitude toward nudity.
Holds workshops and meetings, sets up booths at events and provides speakers to introduce interested individuals to naturism and to area resources for naturists and nudists.
Monitors legislation.

Carpe diem!

Around here, days when the weather is perfect for outdoor nude activity are hard to predict. We schedule indoor nude activities throughout the year and schedule outdoor activities in the warmer months. We are also interested and working on ways to facilitate more impromptu gatherings using the web and other communications tools. Watch this space for future developments.

Enjoy more nudity in your everyday life. Sleep nude. Vacuum nude. Don't rush to get dressed after bathing. Spend an entire day nude.

Our national affiliations:


	The Naturist Society is a membership organization that traces its roots to the free beach movement of the '70s. It is historically more oriented to nude use of public land and a less formal approach to nude recreation. It publishes a generously illustrated quarterly magazine, publishes a guide to The World's Best Nude Beaches and Resorts and has affiliates throughout North America.
	The American Association for Nude Recreation dates back to 1931, bills itself as the credible voice of reason for nude recreation, is historically more oriented toward nude recreation in dedicated clubs and resorts and thus remains the premier association of nudist clubs and resorts throughout North America.
